Niamh Starsong

A Sylvan elf sent from her homeland on assignment to serve as a Valiant in the Tanahran capital of Easthaven. Daughter of Sylvan scouts, and a deadly soldier, she must face trials beyond anything she dared to imagine. A wounded warrior who rallies to the cause, Niamh is the Heroine of Valiant and Sage.

Jeron Wright

An Easthaven Mageguild Sage assigned to the Northgate Expedition, where he meets Niamh Starsong. Son of vintners and both a gifted healer and artificer, Jeron must put his ingenuity to the test in service not just of Ahra, but the woman he loves. He is the hero of Valiant and Sage.

Moya Anders

A Valiant in service of the Easthaven Garrison, we first meet Moya in Valiant and Sage. Daughter of a family with a sacred legacy, Moya must put aside the horrors of her past, and embrace her true birthright to save the day. First introduced in Valiant and Sage, she is the heroine of Aether and Honor.

Brennan Hawke

Valiant Captain serving with distinction, Captain Hawke oversees the Northgate Expedition, and commands Niamh and Moya in Valiant and Sage. We discover the secret of how he became who he is now in the prequel short Hawke and Quarry.

Rexi Briseas

A Sionnach of Sylvania, Rexi left her family to join the Easthaven Mageguild Academy–a great honor for any young leymage. Gifted with air leymagic, Rexi is a talented healer, and serves as Jeron Wright’s assistant when we first meet her in Valiant and Sage. She is most likely of the entire cast to engage in shenanigans…

Loremaster Olangah

The youngest person to ever serve as the Easthaven Mageguild’s Loremaster, Iyawa is an expert on Ahra’s Old Guard and ancient lore, and is an earth leymage of great power. We first encounter the Loremaster after the Northgate incident in Valiant and Sage.

Archmage Miir

Archmages of the realm are charged with neutrality in all matters, and Lin Miir takes this to an extreme with her role in one of Ahra’s most feared and revered covert collectives. She is a tireless champion for good, wields fire leymagic, and is an expert in Old Guard and ancient lore. Archmage Miir first appears in Valiant and Sage.

Leneah Thorn

An air leymage and graduate of the Easthaven Mageguild, Leneah serves under Archmage Miir as an informant and jack of all trades in service of Ahra’s greatest good. She first meets her love, Brennan Hawke, in Hawke and Quarry, and to this day works for her people’s safety.

Emrhys Coldriver

Daughter of a disgraced Dominion nobleman, Emrhys is accused of using her rare and, at times, dangerous aether leymagic for nefarious purposes. Though she is innocent, her path to a free life is a dangerous one and with Corvus’s help, she finds new hope and purpose. Emrhys is the heroine of Sixes and Sevens.

Corvus Sevens

Highguard Sevens is one of the Dominion’s most feared assassins, forced into service to the Dominar at a very young age, though he does not remember the particulars. Working with the Coldriver sisters, Corvus discovers there is much more to his story than he ever dreamed. He is the hero of Sixes and Sevens, and devoted to Emrhys Coldriver’s happiness and safety.

Lenore Coldriver

Younger daughter of a disgraced Dominion nobleman, Lenore is sentenced to serve in Saint Eskala’s priory, while her sister Lenore suffers in prison. Lenore is beautiful, subtle, and always working behind the scenes to care for the people she loves. We first meet her in Sixes and Sevens.

Madame Felsin

A Dominion leymage who was servant to Madame Starling, and worked with Emrhys and Lenore’s father dabbling in unspeakable dark magics, she skulks behind the scenes to incriminate the Coldriver sisters, and to continue her foul experiments on innocents.

Seshka

A survivor of Madame Felsin’s dark experiments, Seshka is a Dominion orphan who knows nothing of her family, and has no prospects for her future…that is, until help comes from the most unexpected place. Her journey is not an easy one, but her mistakes ultimately pave the way for the hope of a better life. We first meet her in the epilogue of Sixes and Sevens.

Ahndras Frost

An aether leymage haunted by his past, Ahndras chooses to forget his pain by loyally serving the people of the bustling Tanahran town of Duskmere. His rare form of leymagic can be both a blessing and a curse, but ultimately saves the day alongside is guardian Moya Andres in a battle against Madame Starling and unimaginable darkness. Ahn is the hero of Aether and Honor.

Etal-Lia, aka Talli

A quiet, secretive Xereth woman, Etal-Lia has served as a hired blade and devoted helper to Ahndras Frost since her mysterious arrival in Duskmere. Her loyalty is set in steel, but there is more to his Umbran warrior than anyone knows… We first meet Talli in Aether and Honor, and she is the heroine of Secrets and Shadows.

Zander Varon

An Empyrean elf who, like his friend Talli, arrived in Duskmere under mysterious circumstances, Zander serves as a Duskmere town guard and friend and advisor to Ahndras Frost. Though his easy manner and roguish humor wins the favor of all around him, there is more to Zander than meets the eye. We meet him in Aether and Honor, and he is the hero of Secrets and Shadows.

Melwyn Davies

Proprietor of Easthaven’s cozy Duskcat Inn, Melywn is a master of good food, even better drinks, and of information that might not be so easy to find. His seasonal teas, brews, and treats are known across the city, and he is a powerful force for the good of Ahra, and just happens to make the best pies in all of Tanahr. Introduced in Valiant and Sage.

Scholar Belden

Working alongside people like Jeron and Niamh in the Northgate Expedition during the events of Valiant and Sage, this Mageguild Scholar uncovers a terrible power, and all of Ahra may suffer for his choices.

Brother Night

A member of the Harbingers cult, Brother Night poses an unprecedented threat to not just Easthaven, but all Ahra. In Hawke and Quarry, Leneah and Brennan must thwart his terrible plans, and conquer an evil straight out of Ahran legend.

Starling

Once a Dominion aethermage of terrible power, Madame Starling tapped into the darkest power Ahra has ever known and awakened something monstrous in the process. What remains of her spirit now threatens the world, and many brave heroes must undo the damage caused by her thirst for power.
